Floriane Fidegnon-Edoh

Floriane Fidegnon – Edoh is a Consultant at BMNT Ltd, with a background in manufacturing engineering and industrial policy. She was previously a department head for industrial policy at a public policy think tank and oversaw the policy work for manufacturing, design and data analytics as well as a manufacturing research commission. She is currently also a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) design and manufacturing policy panel and a IEEE TechEthics ambassador. Previously she has used her expertise as a member of the UK manufacturing symbiosis network plus advisory board, transforming foundation industries network plus advisory board and the Make UK equalities working group.
Floriane has a BEng in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering with Intercalated Year from the University of Warwick. She then worked for GSK within their respiratory supply chain as an industrial placement engineer.
Her past experiences include founding and directing the Warwick Women’s Engineering Society, a Royal Academy of Engineering Future Leaders Scholar, and as a science communicator. Floriane has worked with various organisations promoting Diversity & Inclusion across the STEM sector since 2013. She is currently a charity trustee for Stemette Futures as well as ta trustee for a Multi Academy school trust in Worcester. In 2020, she was presented with the Equal Engineers 2020 Student of the Year award.
