Priya Nair

Priya Nair engages on a number of intellectual property issues that affect ACT | The App Association’s global small business software developer community. As technical tools advance, she works with her team to urge regulatory agencies, Congress, and courts to diminish barriers to innovation and support mechanisms evidenced to protect intellectual property. She focuses on a range of topics surrounding standard essential patent (SEP) licensing, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and emerging technologies (i.e., blockchains and generative artificial intelligence (GAI)).
