Bio
A leading expert on website & enterprise search engines, a consultant, author, speaker & blogger. Charlie ran UK search engine consultancy Flax for 17 years before joining OpenSource Connections in 2019 as a Managing Consultant & UK Director. He is the co-author of Searching the Enterprise for NOW Publications, a founder member of The Search Network, an international group of search experts & an Ambassador for OpenUK. His past clients include Reed Specialist Recruitment, NHS Wales and the UK’s Cabinet Office. He is also the main host of the twice yearly Haystack conference. A recent talk by Charlie won Best Paper at the British Computer Society’s Search Solutions 2023 conference.
