Alan Torrance

Alan Torrance has dedicated over 20 years to advancing engineering practices at JPMorgan Chase, currently serving as a Senior Executive Director and Head of Open Source for Payments. His role in promoting collaboration, contribution and creativity with JPMorgan Payments within the Open Source and FinTech community highlights his vision for the future of engineering in finance. Outside of his professional pursuits, Alan founded the inspirational Make It Happen children’s charity, is a proud father of three and a devoted husband. Colleagues recognize him as a “Space Unicorn” for his unique blend of creativity and ability to make magic happen.
