Bart Farrell is a freelance consultant and a CNCF Ambassador. He has been the Head of Community at the Data on Kubernetes Community since 2020, in which he’s hosted 170+ livestreams and four co-located events at KubeCons. Bart creatively focuses his community efforts on bringing folks together from all backgrounds to enjoy open source technologies through passion, innovation, and cross-cultural connection. Inspired by the artwork and social justice work done by his grandparents, parents, sister, and brother, he believes in the power of people and possibility. Originally from the Bay Area, he currently lives in the north of Spain with his wonderful partner, is an amateur rapper, an even more amateur boxer, and a multi-instrumentalist.
