Matt is a specialist in starting and growing open source businesses. An early employee at Canonical and MongoDB, he founded Jetstack in 2015 to help companies adopt and use Kubernetes. In the process he created cert-manager, the defacto standard for machine identity management in cloud native environments. Jetstack was acquired by Venafi in 2020.
